TERMS AND CONDITIONS
St John Christmas Home & Lifestyle Lottery (“Lottery”) is conducted by St John Ambulance Australia SA Inc (ABN 42 947 425 570) of 85 Edmund Avenue, Unley SA 5061 (“St John”, “we”, “us” or “our”). These terms and conditions apply to the conduct of the Lottery. By purchasing a ticket in the Lottery you agree to be bound by these terms and any other terms attached to specific prizes including the terms of redemption. The Lottery is conducted in South Australia under Lottery Licence No: M13894.
KEY DATES AND LOCATIONS

There are two weekly draws; the Weekly Prize Draw and Weekly Members Draw. The relevant dates for these draws are:

WEEKLY PRIZE DRAWS
To be eligible for the Weekly Prize Draw, an individual must have purchased ticket(s) prior to midnight on the relevant Weekly Deadline Date set out in the table above.
Each Weekly Prize Draw will be drawn at 10am at St John Ambulance Australia SA Inc 85 Edmund Avenue Unley SA 5061 under supervision by representatives from PwC, Cowell Clarke and an independent scrutineer on the relevant Weekly Draw Date set out in the table above. All tickets in all Weekly Prize Draws will be returned to the ticket pool to be eligible for remaining Weekly Prize Draws and the Main Draw.
WEEKLY MEMBERS DRAWS
To be eligible for the Weekly Members Draws, an individual must:
- be a member of the St John Christmas Home & Lifestyle Lottery (membership is subject to additional terms and conditions beyond these terms and conditions);
- have a valid ticket in the Lottery before the Weekly Deadline Date as specified in the table above; and
- have agreed to be a member for our future home lotteries as at the Weekly Deadline Date set out in the above table.
Membership can be cancelled at any time. If membership is cancelled prior to any Weekly Deadline Date, the ticket holder will not be eligible to participate in the remaining Weekly Members draw.
Each Weekly Members Draw will be drawn at 10am at St John Ambulance Australia SA Inc 85 Edmund Avenue Unley SA 5061 under supervision by representatives from PwC, Cowell Clarke and an independent scrutineer on the relevant Weekly Draw Date as specified in the table above.
All tickets in all Weekly Members Draws will be returned to the ticket pool to be eligible for all remaining draws.

The Main Draw (including the Grand Prize) will be drawn at 10am at St John Ambulance Australia SA Inc 85 Edmund Avenue Unley SA 5061 under supervision by representatives from PwC, Cowell Clarke and an independent scrutineer. Ticket sales close at midnight on 13 December 2020.
Available prize pool of $7,244,458. The value of the prize pool is approximate as at the date of print of these terms. A total of 150,000 tickets are available for purchase. A total of 30,035 prizes are up for grabs. A list of all the prizes (including all inclusions and exclusions) are available on our website at www.stjohnlottery.com.au. Prizes awarded may not be exactly as illustrated. The Lottery only comprises the Weekly Prize Draws, Weekly Members Draws, and the Main Draw. Tickets are priced at 1 for $100, 3 for $250, 5 for $375 or 7 for $500. Subject to the total number of tickets available, there is no limit on the number of individual tickets a person may purchase. Assuming all tickets are sold, each ticket has an equal 1 in 5 chance of being drawn. We will use all proceeds raised through the Lottery (less costs and expenses) to continue our operations, activities, programs and services to the community.
The Lottery is open to all South Australian residents other than our CEO and paid staff or any partners or employees of PwC. Every individual listed on a ticket warrants that they are at least 18 years of age and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, permitted to receive any of the prizes forming part of the draw at the time of purchasing the ticket.
TICKETS AND PAYMENT
Tickets can be purchased online at www.stjohnlottery.com.au by credit card or PayPal, by phoning the call centre on 1300 WIN HOME or attending at our State office reception at 85 Edmund Avenue, Unley and the house-open days (location published on our website at www.stjohnlottery.com.au). Purchases can be made by credit card, cash, cheque and money order at our State office reception at 85 Edmund Avenue Unley. Orders via cheque will only be eligible for future Draws if they are received and cleared and have tickets issued prior to the relevant Deadline date. We do not accept any responsibility for cheques that have not cleared by the cut-off times for the relevant draws, or any cheques or money orders that we do not receive in time for draw.
Tickets may be purchased with multiple names and the first named individual will be regarded as the primary contact individual. All prizes will be issued to the primary contact individual. We are not responsible, nor will we consider or enter into any correspondence regarding any dispute between individuals named on a ticket regarding the issuing of prizes. Ticket numbers will be printed on a single sheet. We do not accept any responsibility for any entries not received for any reason during the Lottery period nor do we take any responsibility for lost, late or misdirected entries. We are not responsible for any unforeseen technical difficulties with the ordering process and nor do we warrant the availability of the ordering process.
WEEKLY MEMBERS PRIZE DRAW AND WEEKLY PRIZE DRAW WINNERS ANNOUNCED
The lucky winners of the Weekly Prize Draws and Weekly Members Draws will be notified by telephone and the winners will also be announced online at www.stjohnlottery.com.au and printed in The Advertiser within 48 hours of each Draw date.
GRAND PRIZE PACKAGE WINNER ANNOUNCED
The lucky winner of the Grand Prize Package will be notified by telephone and email on the date the Grand Prize Package is drawn. The Grand Prize winner will also be announced online at www.stjohnlottery.com.au and printed in The Advertiser on 18 December 2020.
ALL OTHER WINNERS ANNOUNCED
All other winners will be notified by email no later than 18 December 2020. An email will be sent to all participants no later than 18 December 2020 announcing all prize winners (with a link to the winners list). A list of all winners of prizes valued at $250 or more will also be printed in The Advertiser on 18 December 2020. A complete list of prize winners will be available at www.stjohnlottery.com.au. Details on how to redeem the prizes will be provided at the time of notification. All prizes must be claimed by the winners within 3 months’ of the Main Draw date. It is the responsibility of each winner to redeem their prize. Any unclaimed prizes will be retained by us to be used in other fundraising campaigns.
EARLY SELL OUT OF ALL TICKETS
In the event that all lottery tickets are sold prior to midnight Sunday 25 October 2020, all remaining draws (the Weekly Prize Draws and Weekly Members Prize draws yet to be completed, and the Main Draw) will be conducted at 10am at St John Ambulance Australia SA Inc 85 Edmund Avenue Unley SA 5061 under supervision by representatives from PwC, Cowell Clarke and an independent scrutineer on 4 November 2020. If all tickets are sold and the draw moved forward, all ticket holders will be advised by email no later than 28 October 2020.
Requests for refunds will be accepted prior to midnight on 20 September 2020 upon verification of payment. No refunds will be accepted after this date. Upon processing a refund, the corresponding ticket(s) will become void. Refunds can only be requested by calling 1300 WIN HOME or emailing email@example.com
So that an opportunity to participate in future fundraising campaigns is never missed, by purchasing a ticket each participant has opted to become a member of the St John Christmas Home & Lifestyle Lotteries, receive our marketing emails and participate in future lotteries. We will notify each participant prior to the opening of the next lottery. Participants will be able to opt out at the point of purchase when purchasing tickets online or by calling 1300 WIN HOME.
The Weekly Prize Draws comprises $2,058,918 in various prizes as outlined on our website at www.stjohnlottery.com.au. The Weekly Members Prize Draws comprises $60,000 cash awarded in lots of $5,000.
The Grand Prize Package for the Main Draw is a fully furnished Adelaide Hills mansion designed by Samuel James Homes, a Hindmarsh Island waterfront Holiday Home, a 2019 Revival 530 Offshore Half Cabin Boat, a Range Rover Velar 20MY P250 S AWD, and $250,000 Cash.
There are 20 iconic South Australian experiences to be won. The total combined prize value for South Australian experiences is $19,942. Unless otherwise stated, South Australian experience prizes do not include spending money, transport to the experience destination or any other expenses. There are 29,978 various other items to be won including electrical equipment from Harvey Norman Gepps Cross, Wine, Perfume, Gift Cards, and Experiences. The total combined prize pool of all other items is $2,100,540.
The market value of the houses at the time of redemption may be different from the value as stated in these terms and at www.stjohnlottery.com.au due to fluctuations in the Australian housing market. The value of the other prizes at the time from redemption may also be different from their stated value in these terms and at www.stjohnlottery.com.au. The winner is not entitled to the difference, if any, between the stated value of the prize and the actual value of the prize at the time of redemption. Details of all prizes listed herein are also available at www.stjohnlottery.com.au. All prizes must be accepted as awarded. No cash equivalents are available. All prizes will be issued to the primary contact individual. Letters and notifications will be addressed to the primary contact individual named on the official lottery ticket.
Each prize winner indemnifies us and keeps us indemnified against all claims, losses, damages, costs and expenses suffered or incurred by us, PwC or any third party arising out of a breach of these terms by the participant.
Where a ticket holder has, in our view, violated these terms and conditions in a material manner, we reserve our rights to invalidate any ticket issued to that individual (including where they may be one of multiple individuals named on a single ticket). All invalid tickets will be withdrawn from the Weekly Prize, Weekly Members Prize and Main draws. Any determination of St John regarding the validity of a ticket or breach of these terms and conditions is final.
COVID-19 HEALTH & SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS
St John will take reasonable efforts to ensure that all lottery draws are open for ticket holders to attend. Not all ticket holders may be permitted entrance to the premises where a draw is being conducted if their attendance would violate the law of South Australia, any public health order or regulation or any reasonable condition on attendance by the occupier of the premises where the draw is being conducted, or risk the health and safety of any other person at the draw. In the interests of health and safety of St John staff and other persons at the draw, ticket holders may be limited or required to register or notify of their intention to attend a draw in advance of the draw taking place.
