How many tickets are available, and what is the price?

There is a total of 150,000 tickets available for sale, with an available prize pool of $7,244,458

Tickets are priced at:

  • 1 for $100
  • 3 for $250
  • 5 for $375
  • 7 for $500

(Please note: lottery tickets are not tax deductible)

How can I purchase tickets?

Tickets can be purchased;

  • Online at www.stjohnlottery.com.au (by credit card or PayPal)
  • By phoning the St John Christmas Home & Lifestyle Lottery call centre on 1300 WIN HOME
  • In person by credit card, cash, cheque or money order at St John Ambulance SA State Office at 85 Edmund Avenue, Unley SA 5061
  • Post your cheque or money order along with the ticket order form to St John Ambulance SA state office, 85 Edmund Avenue, Unley SA 5061
  • At an open house – open days as advertised at www.stjohnlottery.com.au (credit card only, no cash is kept on premises)

How long will it take to receive my ticket(s)?

For purchases made online at www.stjohnlottery.com.au:

Ticket(s) will be emailed to the ticket purchaser’s email address nominated in the checkout shortly after the purchase is complete.

For purchases made via the call centre:

Ticket(s) will be emailed to the ticket purchaser’s email address nominated in the checkout shortly after the purchase is complete.

  • Please ensure you check your Junk or Spam folder before calling 1300 WIN HOME if the ticket has not arrived via email within 30 minutes after purchase

For purchases where tickets are sent in the post:

Ticket(s) will be posted via Australia Post and will be subject to their delivery timelines.

For purchases made by cheque or money order:

Ticket(s) will be posted following the clearance of cheques/money orders. The ticket(s) will be posted via Australia Post and will be subject to their delivery timelines.

How many prizes are available and what are the odds of winning?

Within the $7,244,458 prize pool, there are a total of 30,035 prizes to be won, including $2,058,918 in major Weekly Prizes and $60,000 for Members in the Weekly Membership Draws.

There is a 1 in 5 chance of winning a prize.

How do the Weekly Draws work?

Each week, all purchased tickets go into a Weekly Prize Draw (refer “Key Dates to Remember” above for deadlines).

PLUS, when you choose to be a member, your ticket(s) are also entered into a Member’s Weekly Draw, where you could win $5,000!

Get your tickets early to maximise the number of draws your ticket(s) are entered into. Your ticket(s) could enter up to 25 major prize draws and win you 4 homes! The weekly draw pool is valued at over $2,000,000.

Who is eligible to purchase tickets?

The Lottery is open to all South Australian residents other than our CEO and paid staff or any partners or employees of PwC. Participants must be 18 years or older.

St John Ambulance SA Inc is a self-funded not-for-profit charity, and relies on community support to operate in service of the South Australian Community. What is the benefit of becoming a Member?

Members are eligible for the $5,000 weekly cash prize draw. PLUS, becoming a member ensures you never miss out, by way of a ticket(s) being reserved for members in future lotteries.

Members can make changes to their membership by emailing St John Ambulance SA on info@stjohnlottery.com.au, or phoning 1300 WIN HOME.

What is the process to request a refund?

Requests for refunds will be accepted during St John Christmas Home & Lifestyle Lottery call centre opening hours prior to midnight on 20 September 2020 upon verification of payment. No refunds will be accepted after this date.

Refunds can only be requested by calling 1300 WIN HOME or emailing info@stjohnlottery.com.au

If I win, how can I claim my prize?

Each winner will be notified with information on how to redeem their prize.

All prizes must be claimed by the winners within 3 months of the Grand Prize Draw date.

St John Ambulance Australia SA Inc will make multiple attempts to contact each winner regarding redemption of prizes.

All fees relating to stamp duty and transfer of the homes on offer will be paid for by St John Ambulance Australia SA Inc. Settlement may take up to a few weeks.

What comes with the Adelaide Oval VIP Package Footy Corporate suites?

We know how passionate South Australians are about footy, and so we want to try and ensure the winners get the package they are most passionate about.

Weekly Draws 6 & 7 include a private box to the 2021 AFL games for your favorite SA team, for the games in the regular season (Excludes finals rounds). This includes 1 of the 2 “showdown” games, with the Week 6 package securing the first showdown game and the Week 7 package securing the second showdown game of the 2021 season.

The Week 6 prize is allocated to all Adelaide Crows Games. The Week 7 prize is allocated to all Port Adelaide Games.

The access to the corporate suite is for 18 people, and excludes catering (which can be arranged directly with the friendly team at the Adelaide Oval if the winner wishes to fund their own catering).

Access to the Oval Hotel is extended for 6 nights accommodation, which can be used on game days or at other times to create some city short getaways. Additionally, each package comes with a 14 person roof climb, to see the Adelaide Oval from the very best vantage point.

Please note – In the event that both Week 6 & Week 7 winners wish to have the same SA team for the 2021 season, efforts will be made to accommodate the request, however availability to corporate suites may limit an ability to accommodate winners from the same team. In such a case, the Week 6 Draw will remain allocated to Adelaide Crows games and the Week 7 Draw will remain allocated to Port Adelaide games. The exception to this is if the Week 6 & Week 7 draw winners mutually wish to exchange prizes to secure their preferred team.

How are proceeds raised from the Lottery used?

Proceeds go directly towards supporting the charitable activities of St John Ambulance Australia SA Inc. These activities include; training thousands of SA volunteers in first aid skills, providing training and equipment in response to state emergencies, teaching life saving first aid skills to primary school students, and supporting St John volunteer divisions across South Australia.
