How many tickets are available, and what is the price?
There is a total of 616,000 tickets available for sale, with an available prize pool of $10,900,967.71
Tickets are priced at;

- 3 for $250
- 5 for $375
- 7 for $500

How long will it take to receive my ticket(s)?
For purchases made online at www.shop.stjohnlottery.com.au:
Ticket(s) will be emailed to the ticket purchaser’s email address nominated in the checkout shortly after the purchase is complete.
For purchases made via the call centre:
Ticket(s) will be emailed to the ticket purchaser’s email address nominated in the checkout shortly after the purchase is complete.
- Please ensure you check your Junk or Spam folder before calling 1300 946 466, Victoria only 1300 946 669 if the ticket has not arrived via email within 30 minutes after purchase
For purchases made at the St John Ambulance Lottery Office or State Office :
Ticket(s) will be emailed to the ticket purchaser’s email address nominated in the checkout shortly after the purchase is complete.
A printed copy of the ticket(s) can be made available on request.
For purchases where tickets are sent in the post:
Ticket(s) are posted via Australia Post and will be subject to their delivery timelines.
For purchases made by cheque or money order:

How many prizes are available and what are the odds of winning?
Within the $10,900,967.71 prize pool, there are a total of 63,076 prizes to be won, including a $5 Million Grand Prize, $1,733,112.71 in major Weekly Prizes and $1,000,000 for members in the Membership Draw.
There are 616,000 tickets available for purchase, representing a 1 in 10 chance of winning a prize.
What is included in the Grand Prize this year?
The Grand Prize for the Main Draw features the below. Tickets must be purchased by the deadline of 11:59pm Sunday December 15. The Grand Prize is drawn in the Main Draw on Wednesday December 18. The winner will be required to choose between 5 options. The 5 options of the Grand Prize are:
OPTION 1: a fully furnished home in Beaumont, South Australia valued at approximately $3,600,000, Furniture valued at $168,350 and luxury car valued at approximately $235,000 and $1,000,000 cash (or gold). The total Grand Prize value for Option A is approximately $5,000,000.
OR
OPTION 2: A home in Surfers Paradise, Queensland valued at approximately $3,600,000 and luxury car valued at approximately $320,000 and $1,000,000 cash (or gold) and $80,000 Harvey Norman spending spree for home furnishings. The total Grand Prize value for Option B is approximately $5,000,000.
OR
OPTION 3: An apartment in Sydney, New South Wales valued at approximately $3,500,000 and a luxury car valued at approximately $440,000, $1,000,000 cash (or gold) and $60,000 Harvey Norman spending spree for home furnishings. The total Grand Prize value for Option C is approximately $5,000,000.
OR
OPTION 4: An apartment in Melbourne, Victoria, currently under development due to be completed in 2026, valued at approximately $3,540,000 and luxury car valued at approximately $400,000 and $1,000,000 cash (or gold) and $60,000 Harvey Norman spending spree for home furnishings. The total Grand Prize value for Option D is approximately $5,000,000. Relevant deeds in relation to ownership will be executed at the time of awarding the prize. St John Ambulance SA will remain financially liable for associated costs until the completion of the prize transfer.

How do the daily Christmas Cash Draws work?
The daily Christmas Cash Draws are open exclusively to St John Lottery members. The Christmas Cash Prize Draws comprise a total of $210,000 in cash prizes. There will be 21 Draws for a $10,000 cash prize each. Each draw will take place every weekday at 10:00am from and including Friday November 15 2024 and conclude on Friday 13 December 2024. All membership tickets purchased from the start of the Lottery till the previous business day of each Christmas Cash Draw up until 11:59pm will be included in the daily draws. Christmas Cash Draws conducted each Monday will include all membership tickets purchased up until 11:59pm the Sunday prior. The Ferrari members Supercar Superdraw will take place 18 December 2024 immediately before the Grand Prize Draw.
How do the Weekly Draws work?
Each week, all purchased tickets go in to a Weekly Prize Draw (refer “Key Dates to Remember” above for deadlines).
Get your tickets early to maximise the number of draws your ticket(s) are entered in to. Your ticket(s) could enter up to 9 major prize draws with a total 33 prizes drawn! The total weekly draw pool is valued at approximately $1,733,100.
How does the Ferrari Supercar Superdraw Draw work?
The Ferrari Supercar Superdraw Member Prize Draw comprises a Ferrari 296 GTB demonstrator from Zagame Automotive plus $40,000 in cash (gold) valued at approximately $790,000.
To be eligible for the membership prize, members must have a valid ticket(s) in the current lottery and have agreed to be a member for our future home lotteries at the point of ticket purchase.
Tickets must be purchased by the deadline of 11:59pm Sunday December 15. The Ferrari Supercar Superdraw Prize is drawn prior to the Main Draw on Wednesday December 18.
Participants will be able to opt out of becoming a member at any time. If this is done before the Member Prize Draw then they will not be included in the Member Draw.
Can I visit all of the homes?
Grand Prize: Beaumont Adelaide
The Adelaide Grand Prize home will be the only home available to visit. We have two Open House days left, Saturday 23rd November and Friday 6th December.

Who is eligible to purchase tickets?
Ticket holders must be 18 years or older. The Lottery is open to all Australian residents other than any of the following, who are ineligible to purchase tickets in any capacity:
- any board member, committee member or staff member at St John Ambulance Australia SA Ltd and their immediate family members; or
- any HLB Mann Judd employee or partner; or
- any Tolid & Co employee or partner;
- Campaign Management Solutions employee or immediate family members
How else can I support St John Ambulance?
St John Ambulance is a self-funded not-for-profit charity, and relies on community support to operate in the community. For more information on how you can provide support call your local St John Ambulance state office.
What is the process to request a refund?
Requests for refunds will only be accepted prior to 5:00pm Sunday 6 October 2024 upon verification of payment. No refunds will be accepted after this date. Upon processing a refund, the corresponding ticket(s) will become void.

If I win, how can I claim my prize?
Each winner will be notified with information on how to redeem their prize.
All prizes must be claimed by the winners as stated in the terms and conditions.
St John Ambulance Australia SA Ltd will make multiple attempts to contact each winner regarding redemption of prizes.
All fees relating to stamps duty and transfer of the homes on offer will be paid for by St John Ambulance Australia SA Ltd. Settlement may take up to a few weeks.
How are proceeds raised from the lottery used?
Proceeds go directly towards supporting the charitable activities of St John Ambulance. These activities include; training thousands of volunteers in first aid skills, training and equipment in response to state emergencies, training life saving first aid skills to primary school students, and supporting the volunteer divisions.
