How many tickets are available, and what is the price?

There is a total of 250,000 tickets available for sale, with an available prize pool of $6,630,349.46.

Tickets are priced at;

  • 1 for $100
  • 3 for $250
  • 5 for $375
  • 7 for $500

How can I purchase tickets?

Tickets can be purchased;

  • Online at stjohnlottery.com.au (by credit card, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay)
  • By phoning the St John Lottery call centre on 1300 946 466, Victoria only 1300 946 669
  • In person by credit card, cash, cheque or money order at St John Ambulance SA State Office at 85 Edmund Avenue, Unley SA 5061
  • Post your cheque or money order along with the ticket order form to St John Ambulance SA State Office, 85 Edmund Avenue, Unley SA 5061
  • The house-open days as advertised at www.stjohnlottery.com.au

How long will it take to receive my ticket(s)?

For purchases made online at www.stjohnlottery.com.au:

Ticket(s) will be emailed to the ticket purchaser’s email address nominated in the checkout shortly after the purchase is complete.

For purchases made via the call centre:

Ticket(s) will be emailed to the ticket purchaser’s email address nominated in the checkout shortly after the purchase is complete.

  • Please ensure you check your Junk or Spam folder before calling 1300 946 466, Victoria only 1300 946 669 if the ticket has not arrived via email within 30 minutes after purchase.

For purchases made at the St John Ambulance Lottery Office or State Office :

Ticket(s) will be emailed to the ticket purchaser’s email address nominated in the checkout shortly after the purchase is complete.

A printed copy of the ticket(s) can be made available on request.

For purchases where tickets are sent in the post:

Ticket(s) are posted via Australia Post and will be subject to their delivery timelines.

For purchases made by cheque or money order:

Ticket(s) will be posted following the clearance of cheques/money orders. The ticket(s) will be posted via Australia Post and will be subject to their delivery timelines.

How many prizes are available and what are the odds of winning?

Within the $6,630,349.46 prize pool, there are a total of 5,040 prizes to be won, including a $5 Million Grand Prize, $1,416,224.52 in other prizes and $214,240.94 for members in the Membership Draw.

There are 250,000 tickets available for purchase, representing approximately a 1 in 50 chance of winning a prize.

What is included in the Grand Prize this year?

The Grand Prize for the Main Draw features the following options. Tickets must be purchased by the deadline of 11:59pm Sunday, November 29, 2026. The Grand Prize is drawn in the Main Draw on Wednesday, December 2, 2026. The winner will be required to choose between 3 options. The 3 options of the Grand Prize are:

OPTION A: A fully furnished 4-bedroom home in Semaphore South, South Australia + $300,000 (cash or gold)

OR

OPTION B: A 3-bedroom apartment in Broadbeach, Queensland (currently under development and due to be completed in Dec 2027) + $510,000 (cash or gold). Relevant deeds in relation to ownership will be executed at the time of awarding the prize. St John Ambulance SA will remain financially liable for associated costs until the completion of the prize transfer.

OR

OPTION C: $4,500,000 presented in the form of gold bullion.

How do the Cashtember Draws work?

Each draw day, all eligible purchased tickets are entered into the Cashtember Draws. Refer to “Key Dates to Remember” above for deadlines. The Cashtember Draws comprise a total of $150,000 in prizes. There will be 15 Draws for a $10,000 cash (or Gold) prize each. Get your tickets early to maximise the number of draws your ticket(s) are entered into.

How does the Maserati Members Draw work?

The Exclusive Members Draw comprises a Maserati Grecale Trofeo from Solitaire Automotive valued at approximately $214,240.94.

To be eligible for the Exclusive Members Draw, members must have a valid ticket(s) in the current lottery and have agreed to be a member for our future St John Lotteries at the point of ticket purchase.

Tickets must be purchased by the deadline of 11:59pm Sunday, November 29, 2026. The Exclusive Members Draw is drawn prior to the Main Draw on Wednesday, December 2, 2026.

Participants will be able to opt out of becoming a member at any time. If this is done before the Exclusive Members Draw then they will not be included in the Member Draw.

Can I visit all of the homes?

Only the South Australian Property will be available to be viewed by the public.

Who is eligible to purchase tickets?

The Lottery is open to residents of South Australia, New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, Tasmania, the Northern Territory and the Australian Capital Territory who are a minimum of 18 years of age, other than any of the following, who are ineligible to purchase tickets in any capacity:

  • any paid or volunteer Director, CEO or their direct reports at St John, St John Ambulance Australia Ltd (ABN 83 373 110 633) or any other St John Australia entities across Australia; and anyone directly involved in the management, implementation and/or administration of the lottery (including in a paid or volunteer capacity); or
  • any HLB Mann Judd employee or partner; or
  • any Campaign Management Solutions employee or partner; or
  • any other person who manages, conducts, organises or promotes the Lottery (including any person who determines who is to win a prize in the Lottery).

The Lottery is not conducted in Western Australia and Western Australian residents are not eligible to participate in the Lottery. Every individual listed on a ticket warrants at the time of purchase that they are a resident in either South Australia, New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, Tasmania, the Northern Territory or the Australian Capital Territory, are at least 18 years of age and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, permitted to receive any of the prizes forming part of the draw at the time of purchasing the ticket.

How else can I support St John Ambulance?

St John is a self-funded not-for-profit charity, and relies on community support to operate in the community. For more information on how you can provide support, call your local St John state office.

What is the process to request a refund?

Requests for refunds will be accepted prior to 5pm (ACST) on 4 September 2026 upon verification of payment. No refunds will be accepted after this date. Upon processing a refund, the corresponding ticket(s) will become void.

Refunds can only be requested by calling 1300 946 466 (1300 946 669 for Victorian residents) or emailing [email protected].

If I win, how can I claim my prize?

Each winner will be notified with information on how to redeem their prize.

All prizes must be claimed by the winners as stated in the terms and conditions.

St John Ambulance Australia SA Ltd will make multiple attempts to contact each winner regarding redemption of prizes.

All fees relating to stamp duty and transfer of the homes on offer will be paid for by St John Ambulance Australia SA Ltd.

How are proceeds raised from the lottery used?

Proceeds go directly towards supporting the charitable activities of St John. These activities include; training thousands of volunteers in first aid skills, training and equipment in response to state emergencies, training life saving first aid skills to primary school students, and supporting the volunteer divisions.
